When you visit Angkor Wat , you will definitely be in town 🙂 Siem Reap town is becoming very popular in the world. Angkor Wat is the largest religious monument in the world.

I came to this city last year, in February 2013 . To reach this city, you can use the airplane as Siem Reap has an international airport . Or you can by road either from Vietnam or Thailand. Unfortunately if you use public transportation such as buses, a little bit inconvenient because the city does not have a dedicated bus terminal. I knew this because of my own experience, when I will go to Bangkok, Thailand by public bus .

I have already booked a bus ticket through the hotel at a price of US$13. The morning after taking care of check out, I was picked up by a van and it still had to pick up a few more people at different hotels. And finally the van stopped on the roadside . The driver said that the bus will come soon pick up. The minutes passed , the passengers began to arrive one by one and may have been around 40 people, but there was no sign of the bus will come. The sun started high and where there was no place to sit or a tree for shelter. People began to overheat and wonder because is past the appointed hour.

Well, finally the bus came and we were scrambling to get into the bus and it was unexpected that I was riding the bus is not like I was riding a bus from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. An experience that certainly that will not be forgotten 🙂
